Summary
Die jüngsten Entwicklungen und aktuelle Herausforderungen im Öko-Bereich europaweit zu diskutieren, sind Schwerpunkte dieses Projekts. Durch den persönlichen Austausch mit den Akteurinnen und Akteuren anderer europäischer Länder sollen praktische Erfahrungswerte und Impulse für neue Ansätze offenbar werden. Von den Erfolgen und Herausforderungen zu erfahren, ist jetzt, wo die ZöL in eine Phase der Überarbeitung geht, ein sinnvoller Zeitpunkt. Der BÖLW als Antragsteller möchte mit den Ergebnissen des Projekts einen Beitrag leisten, die ZöL praxis- und lösungsorientiert weiterzuentwickeln, damit die Bundesregierung das 20 %-Flächenziel erreichen kann.
Arbeitsschritte:
1. Identifizieren von Themen, die aktuelle Herausforderungen im Öko-Sektor aufgreifen und Potenziale für die Weiterentwicklung der ZöL enthalten
2. Vorbereitung und Durchführung eines Europäischen Bio-Kongresses (European Organic Congress, EOC) mit Fokus auf Aktionspläne in den Staaten Europas und den European Action Plan
3. Dokumentation und Aufbereitung der Ergebnisse des Kongresses im Hinblick auf die Weiterentwicklung der ZöL

Summary translation
Discussing the latest developments and current challenges in the organic sector throughout Europe are the main focuses of this project. Through personal exchange with actors from other European countries, practical experience and impulses for new approaches will be revealed. To learn about the successes and challenges is essential now that the Future Strategy for Organic Farming (ZöL) is entering a phase of overwork goes, a sensible time. With the results of the project, the applicant, the Bund Ökologische Lebensmittelwirtschaft (BÖLW), would like to make a contribution to the further development of the ZöL in a practical and solution-oriented manner, so that the Federal Government can achieve the 20 % land area target.
Working steps:
