Summary in the original language of the document

This module aims at providing general information about common weeds, by presenting basic knowledge to be acquired before designing a plan for weed suppression (e.g. intercropping options). It also tries to raise the awareness about different mechanical weed control options and cropping systems that suppress weed incidence. Provided tools explain the factors that should be considered in a weed control strategy adoption. This module is targeting a wide range of categories of students, farmers, advisors …etc. The module is basically based on a PowerPoint presentation containing a theoretical background and supported by related specific tools (practice abstracts, leaflets, guidelines, data calculation tools, videos, books, reports, web pages etc.) taken from the OK-Net knowledge platform.
