The objective of this module is to present the main problems related to pest and disease management in organic arable farming. It provides strategies (mainly preventive and cultural measures) that are essential to enhance the resilience and plant health in organic arable cropping systems to minimize the need of using plant protection products against pests and diseases. This module is targeting a wide range of categories of students, farmers, advisors …etc. The module is based on a PowerPoint presentation containing a theoretical background and supported by related specific tools (practice abstracts, leaflets, guidelines, data calculation tools, videos, books, reports, web pages etc.) taken from the OK-Net knowledge platform.
