Håndbogen er et resultat af EU CORE Organic + projektet EcoOrchard. Projektet koordineres af Københavns Universitet, og den danske del er financieret med støtte fra GUDP, (Grønt Udviklings- og Demonstrationsprogram under Miljø- og Fødevareministeriet) og ICROFS.
