Summary
Depuis 2009, le Creab Midi-Pyrénées conduit des essais autour de la gestion des adventices en grandes cultures biologiques par la pratique du faux-semis. Un premier essai a permis de comparer cette technique (déstockages successifs du stock grainier avec des outils à dents) à celle du labour. Si les déstockages successifs permettent de faire lever plus d'adventices avant la mise en place de la culture, et donc de les éliminer, les adventices sont aussi plus présentes en cours de culture (stock important et remontée de graines par les outils à dents). Un second essai a testé, pendant quatre ans, quatre itinéraires de faux-semis après labour, avant cultures d'hiver et d'été, montrant une certaine efficacité sur les cultures d'été. Les principaux résultats sont présentés dans cet article.
Summary translation
Since 2009, the Creab Midi-Pyrenees has conducted trials using false-seed bed for the management of weeds in organic crops. A first test made it possible to compare this technique (successive destocking of the seed stock with tooth tools) to that of ploughing. If the successive destockings make it possible to grow more weeds before the establishment of the crop, and thus to eliminate them, the weeds are also more present during the crop (large stock and raising of seeds by the tools with teeth). A second trial tested, for four years, four false seed bed technical processes after ploughing, before winter and summer crops, showing some efficiency on summer crops. The main results are presented in this article.
