Summary
Summary translation
An analyses among consumers concluded, that there is a need of a consumer targeted communication plan with focus on awareness of organic fish, which is farmed and controlled following specific regulations on organic aquaculture, and that the organic label is different from the ecological labels MSC, ASC etc. Denmark currently being among the World biggest producers of organic trout and among the biggest producers in EU – opens potential for increasing the production to fill the gap from the increased demand for organic products in the European markets.
