Onresilience to climate change and other challenges. Agricultural advisors are expected to play an important role in supporting farmers experimental activities and
participation in on-farm research. Current EU and German policy instruments increasingly support innovation networks involving multiple stakeholders from science and practice. This paper investigates, to what extent advisors are involved and interested in on-farm research and farmer experiments. An online survey was developed addressing approx. 400 agricultural advisors in Germany. The survey
showed that the majority of the advisors are involved in farmer experiments and onfarm research, single advisors to a very high extent.
