Summary
Schools that are located directly on an organic farm and cooperate continuously with the productive farm represent a particularly strong connection between education and
agriculture. In the paper three such collaborations are presented as cases. Interviews were carried out to explore the objectives of cooperation, advantages and disadvantages for all actors involved, aspects of funding and specific challenges of the close cooperation. Perspectives are discussed and advice for the planning of similar
initiatives are presented.
