Summary
Poor claw health is one of the most common cause of losses in German dairy cows. Within this project the health status of claws was examined to gain further knowledge about claw health in extensively kept beef cattle in Germany. At five Angus cattle farms the claws of 350 animals were scored using a modified version of the ICAR Claw Heath Atlas. White line disease was found In 22% of the animals.
