Die Spargelfliege (Plioreocepta poeciloptera) gehört zu den wichtigsten Schadinsekten in der Spargelproduktion.
In diesem Projekt sollen neue Ansätze und Strategien zur nachhaltigen Bekämpfung der Spargelfliege im integrierten und ökologischen Spargelanbau erarbeitet werden.
Fehlende Kenntnisse zur Biologie und Ökologie der Spargelfliege sollen ergänzt, alternative Bekämpfungsmaßnahmen getestet und die Bekämpfungsschwellen überprüft werden. Darauf aufbauend soll ein ganzheitliches Bekämpfungskonzept für ökologisch und integriert arbeitende Betriebe entwickelt werden.

Summary translation
The asparagus fly (Plioreocepta poeciloptera) is an important insect pest in asparagus crop production.
In this project new approaches and strategies for the sustainable control of the asparagus fly in integrated and ecological crop production shall be developed. The project focuses on amending missing knowledge of the biology and ecology of the aspargus fly,evaluating alternative control measures and revising the preliminary economic thresholds and economic injury levels by collecting yield data in insecticide trials.
Based on the results a sustainable control concept should be developed and transfered to advisers and integrated and ecological producing asparagus growers.
