Organic rapeseed oils is in demand. But the organic rape cultivation is difficult. Especially the pollen beetle causes big yield losses. As there is currently no allowed direct control measure, preventive measures have to be used.
The leaflet provides some information about the biology of the pollen beetle and about methods of identifying it. It also provides some information about monitoring and possible preventive measures. Since pollen beetles affect closed buds, supporting fast growth and flowering is an important measure. Finally, the current research is discussed.

Biorapsöl ist gefragt. Der biologische Anbau von Raps ist jedoch anspruchsvoll. Vor allem der Rapsglanzkäfer kann für grosse Ertragseinbussen sorgen. Da eine direkte Bekämpfung derzeit nicht möglich ist, müssen vorbeugende Massnahmen genutzt werden.
Zuerst erklärt das Merkblatt die Biologie des Rapsglanzkäfers und wie sein Befall identifiziert werden kann. Weiter werden die Überwachung und mögliche vorbeugende Massnahmen erläutert. Der Rapsglanzkäfer befällt geschlossene Knospen. Die Förderung von schnellem Wachstum und rascher Abblüte ist somit eine wichtige Massnahme. Schliesslich wird der aktuelle Stand der Forschung diskutiert.
