Summary in the original language of the document

Summary translation

Dutch consumers have grown accustomed to the fact that their supermarkets offer a wide selection of fruits and vegetables year-round. At the same time, there is a growing group of consumers interested in buying regional products: vegetables and fruits grown locally, with a small carbon footprint. The problem is that during winter, supply and choice of local products is limited. The growers' network Winter Vegetables has been launched to address this problem. This is our first newsletter.
