A 2016. február 16-17-én megrendezett Növényvédelmi Tudományos Napok keretében Boziné Pullai Krisztina (az ÖMKi tájfajta paradicsom kutatásában résztvevő, másodéves növényorvos hallgató) elnyerte a ,,Legjobb ifjúsági előadó" elismerést. Előadásának címe: Paradicsom tájfajták és kártevő együtteseik összehasonlító vizsgálata két ökológiai gazdaságban". Az idén is folytatott kísérlet célja annak kiderítése, hogy adott paradicsom tájfajták alkalmasak-e intenzív termesztésre ökológiai gazdaságban.

Between 16-17 February 2016 the Scientific Plant Protection Days event was planned in Budapest where Krisztina, Boziné Pullai who is a second-year plant protection engineer student and participating in ÖMKi's tomato local varieties' experiment got the Best youth performer appreciation. Her presentation's title: 'Comparative analysis of tomato landraces and their pests in two organic farms'. The aim of the trials which are going on this year is to find out that the tomato local varieties are suitable for intensive production in organic farms.
