Summary in the original language of the document

Red clover cultivar (Merviot vs. Ruttinova) impacted on annual yield while an earlier harvesting schedule improved herbage digestibility. In contrast, the application of inorganic N to red clover in spring resulted in no benefit. This paper reports the treatment effects on crop crude protein concentration.
