Summary

This factsheet gives a short description of recycled phosphorus (P) fertilisers that may be considered to use in organic farming systems in need of P. Some are currently banned in organic farming, whereas others are permitted. P is an infinite resource, and recycling should be increased. The factsheet is used as a hand-out during workshops in the Improve P Project (https://improve-p.uni-hohenheim.de/ )where stakeholders' opinions about recycled P fertilisers are assessed.
