Ce projet 4P « Protection des Plantes Par les Plantes » porte sur la recherche d’alternatives à l’utilisation de pesticides en s’appuyant sur l’évaluation de préparations à base de plantes (infusions, décoctions de prêle, armoise, absinthe et saule) dans un objectif de protection des plantes (bioagresseurs en arboriculture, maraîchage et viticulture). Le 4P se focalise sur l’étude des propriétés fongistatiques ou fongicides, la composition chimique et l’écotoxicité de ces extraits. L’étude des efficacités s’appuie sur des expérimentations de terrain réalisées sur un réseau de parcelles. Ce programme pluridisciplinaire s’inscrit également dans le contexte de la parution du cadre réglementaire pour les Préparations Naturelles Peu Préoccupantes, et l’effort sur le Bio-contrôle. Les résultats sont encourageants, et bien que morcelés et partiels, ils sont en cours de valorisation effective. Il a pu mettre en évidence l’intérêt de ces préparations, définir les usages les plus caractéristiques (Bonnes Pratiques Agricoles), en particulier en viticulture dans la réduction des doses de cuivre et en arboriculture pour la réduction des doses de soufre.
Summary translation
This 4P project “Plant Protection From Plants” focuses on the search for alternatives to the use of pesticides based on the evaluation of herbal preparations (infusions, decoctions) with the objective of protection of plants against pests. 4P project focuses on the study of horsetail, wormwood, absinth and white willow for their fongifuge or fungicide capacities. Aspects concerning the chemical composition and ecotoxicity, research have been conducted in laboratory. The efficiency studies were based on field experiments conducted on a network of plots. This multidisciplinary program involved production of fruits and vegetables, and viticulture areas where protection issues are of particular concern. It also fits in the context of the publication of a regulatory framework for harmless natural preparations, and discussions under the EC Directive n° 128/2009 for the implementation of these new practices as integrative parts of the Bio Control Agents development. We were able to demonstrate the value of these preparations, define the most typical uses (Good Agricultural Practices), in particular to reduce doses in vineyards (copper) and orchards (sulfur).
