Com o objetivo de avaliar tratamentos físicos, químicos e níveis de sombreamento na emergência e desenvolvimento inicial de plântulas de cutieira, foram, inicialmente, avaliados tratamentos de superação de dormência: sementes intactas, tegumento trincado, sementes sem tegumento, ácido sulfúrico por 5 minutos, ácido sulfúrico por 10 minutos, e ácido sulfúrico por 15 minutos. Posteriormente, num segundo estudo, avaliou-se a relação entre diferentes tempos (zero, seis, 12 e 24 h) de embebição com GA3 e níveis de sombreamento (sol pleno, sombreamento com uma e duas telas) na emergência e desenvolvimento de plântulas. Foram avaliados: emergência, índice de velocidade de emergência, comprimento da parte aérea e das raízes, diâmetro do coleto, massa fresca e seca da parte aérea e das raízes, e índice de Dickson. Maiores valores de emergência são obtidos em sementes intactas (30%) e sementes com o tegumento trincado (33%). A emergência de plântulas é estimulada pelo GA3, atingindo 97% de emergência na imersão por 24 h, no sombreamento com duas telas. Os maiores valores do índice de Dickson são obtidos em sol pleno e os menores no sombreamento com duas telas.
Summary translation
Aiming to evaluate physical and chemical treatments and levels of shading in the emergency and initial development of cutieira seedlings, were, initially, evaluated treatments on seeds dormancy break: intact seeds, seed with integument cracked, seed without integument, sulfuric acid for 5 minutes, sulfuric acid for 10 minutes, and sulfuric acid for 15 minutes. Subsequently, in a second study, were evaluated the relationship between soaking treatments with GA3 at different times (zero, six, 12 and 24 h), and level of shading (full sun, shading with one and two shade screens) on emergence and seedling development. Were evaluated: emergency, emergency speed index, length of shoot and root system, stem diameter, fresh and dry weight of shoot and root system, and Dickson index. Higher values of emergency were obtained intact seeds (30%) and seeds with integument cracked (33%). The emergency is stimulated by GA3, reaching 97% of emergency in immersion by 24 hours in the shade with two screens. The highest values of Dickson index were obtained in the full sun and minors in shading with two shade screens.
