Výzkumný ústav živočišné výroby Praha-Uhříněves ve spolupráci s Bioinstitutem Olomouc se staly partnery evropského projektu ProPIG, který má za cíl napomoci rozvoji ekologických chovů prasat v Evropě. Aktivity projektu v rámci CORE Organic II v České republice finančně podporuje Ministerstvo zemědělství. Cílem je monitoring zdravotního stavu, welfare, výživy a ekologických dopadů chovů prasat v osmi evropských zemích. Pro Českou republiku je to dobrá příležitost, jak získat nové zkušenosti.
Summary translation
Research Institute of Animal Production, Prague-Uhříněves in cooperation with Bioinstitut Olomouc, have become partners of the European project ProPIG, which aims to encourage the development of organic pig farms in Europe. Activities of the project within the CORE Organic II in the Czech Republic is finacially supported by the Ministry of Agriculture. The aim is to monitor the state of health, welfare, nutrition and environmental impact of pig farms in eight European countries. It is a good opportunity for Czech republic to gain new experiences.
