Sustainable Harvesting Technique to Support Organic Wild Honey Cultivation.
In February 2012, around twenty wild honey farmers from seven periau around Kapuas River, in the districts of Jongkong and Bunut Hilir, met together in the village of Serdatang to learn the technique of sustainable wild honey harvesting from their colleagues, the wild honey farmers of periau Semangit. The periau involved in the training are those of Serdatang, Sabit, Simok, Langir, Duak Kukuk, Empangau, and Ujung Said. The learning event was facilitated by Perkumpulan KABAN.
