Summary
Village projects introduced to Kars in 2006 aim to revive heirloom seeds and traditional products. The goal is to develop a healthy village model that addresses local's relationship to their environment within a holistic framework. Besides Organic Certification Program, supportive activities developed traditional skills. The project was awarded for the revival of emmer wheat, as IFOAM/Rapunzel One World Award Finalist in 2010.
