Summary
Gıda, su ve hava gibi insan yaĢamının en önemli unsurlarından biridir. Giderek artan
nüfusun bu büyük ihtiyacını karĢılamak için sürekli bir çalıĢma faaliyeti
yürütülmektedir. Bu da kendi içerisinde bazı sorun ve uygulama hatalarını da
beraberinde getirmiĢtir. Organik tarım iĢte bu noktada ortaya çıkmıĢ ve ekolojik olana
yöneliĢi sağlamıĢtır. Çünkü konvansiyonel tarımda üretimi artırmak için uygulanan
hormon vb. durumlar insan yaĢamını olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Organik tarımla
birlikte doğal olana yönelinmiĢ ve yaĢamımızdaki olumsuzluklar önlenmeye
çalıĢılmıĢtır.
Bu kapsamda baĢta BirleĢmiĢ Milletler Gıda ve Tarım Örgütü FAO olmak üzere
çeĢitli uluslar arası kuruluĢlar insan hayatına zararı olmayan doğal ürünlere destek
vermektedirler.
Bu konuda tüm dünyada olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de çeĢitli çalıĢmalar
yürütülmektedir. 5262 sayılı Organik Tarım Kanunu, Türkiye’de organik tarım
faaliyetlerinin gerçekleĢtirilmesinde bir çerçeve oluĢturmaktadır. Konunun birince
maddesi organik tarımın amacını ortaya koymaktadır:
“Tüketiciye güvenilir, kaliteli ürünler sunmak üzere organik ürün ve girdilerin
üretiminin geliĢtirilmesini sağlamak için gerekli tedbirlerin alınmasına iliĢkin usul ve
esaslar belirtilmektedir.” Denilmektedir. Türkiye’de organik tarım faaliyetleri bu kanun
çerçevesinde yönlendirilmektedir.
Summary translation
Food is one of the most important element of human life, such as water and air. To
meet the growing needs of the population, a great activity for the ongoing work is being
carried out. This raises some problems and application errors in itself. Organic
agriculture has emerged at this point and provided orientation until ecologically.
Hormones, etc. applied to increase production in conventional agriculture adversely
affect human life. Organic agriculture has been addressed with the vendor naturally and
has tried to prevent negatives in our lives.
In this context, various international organizations particularly the United Nations
Food and Agriculture Organization FAO gives support to the natural products that are
not harmful to human life.
In this regard various studies are being carried out in Turkey as all over the world.
Organic Agriculture Act No. 5262 in Turkey constitutes a framework for the realization
of organic agriculture. Subject of an article reveals the aim of organic farming.
It is said that “to ensure the development of the production of organic products and
input in order to offer reliable and quality products to consumer, procedures and
fundamental principles as necessary measures to be taken are defined”. Organic
agriculture is directed within the framework of these laws in Turkey.
