Summary in the original language of the document

Tests were carried out to evaluate the foliar consumption of potato under different dyes of meliáceas and neem oil by Diabrotica speciosa (Ger.) were conducted in Entomologic Laboratory at Embrapa Clima Temperado, Pelotas, Brazil. For the essay with meliáceas, in the no-choice test Petri dish (90 mm) containing a disk of determined handling received a couple of adults, in the free-choice test Petri dish (140 mm) containing a disk of each treatment received three couples of adults. They utilized the same methodology for the neem oil essay. The products of Trichilia claussenii C. DC. in the concentrations of 10 and 20% had the smaller areas consumed in the free-chance test. In the no-choice essay the smaller areas consumed were in treatment with T. claussenii and Cedrela fissilis L. In the free-choice essay with neem oil, no treatment was differentiated of the water control. In the free-choice essay all of the treatments had smaller values of consumption than the control.
