Summary
Aim of the study was to get information about the use of homeopathy on pig farms in Germany. Questionnaires of 56 farmers (82 % organic) were evaluated. Only 30 % of organic farmers used homeopathy. In addition, 14 veterinarians and 6 animal health practitioners using homeopathy on pig farms were interviewed. They used homeopathy mainly for fertility problems in sows, mainly on organic farms.
