Summary
Publikace informuje o pěstování alternativních plodin využitelných především pro rozšíření a doplnění sortimentu potravinových surovin, ale nacházejících uplatnění i ve farmacii, kosmetice či jiných oborech. Z množství ve světě využívaných druhů byly vybrány takové, jejichž pěstování i využití již v našich podmínkách bylo ověřeno. Jednotlivé druhy alternativních plodin jsou přiřazeny do klasicky členěných skupin:obilniny, pseudoobilniny, luskoviny, olejniny, okopaniny a je k nim přiřazena vybraná skupina léčivých rostlin. U každého druhu je věnována základní informace významu a využití plodiny, botanické charakteristice a požadavkům plodiny na prostředí. Jádrem sdělení jsou agrotechnické metodické postupy od zařazení plodiny v osevních sledech přes přípravu půdy a osiva ,založení a ošetřování porostu během vegetace až po sklizeň, posklizňové ošetření a skladování. Závěrečné údaje se týkají ekonomiky pěstování a využití produkce.
Publikace je určena agronomům, praktickým zemědělcům a jejich poradcům, studentům a pedagogům středních a vysokých škol i široké odborné veřejnosti.
Summary translation
This publication is focused on the cultivation of alternative crops, which are usable especially for diversification and complement the range of food ingredients. However, they have also come into their own in pharmacy, cosmetics and other fields. From the amount of worldwide used species there have been chosen some species, whose production and use in our condition has been verified. The various species of alternative crops are classified into classically structured groups: cereals, pseudocereals, legumes, oilseeds, root crops and they are assigned to a select group of medicinal plants. For each species there is given basic information about meaning and use of plants, botanical characteristics and demands for the environment. The core information are agrotechnical methodological procedures such as inclusion of the crop in crop rotations, seed and soil preparation, crop establishment and care during the vegetation, harvest, post-harvest treatment and storage. Final information deals with the farming economy and usage of the products.
This publication is intended for agronomists, practical farmers and their consultants, students and teachers of secondary schools and universities and as well the general expert public.
