Kløversnudebiller (Apion) er fundet i alle økologiske hvidkløverfrømarker. I gennemsnit er en trediedel af blomsterne beskadiget af kløversnudebiller, men også dårlige høstbetigelser og i visse dårlig bestøvning kan spille en rolle for udbyttet.
