Summary

Summary translation

The organic production of apples in Denmark is small and unstable because of yield and quality losses caused by pests and diseases.
The project focuses on robust cultivars of apples, new innovative methods of weed control, and extension of the season and thereby the supply and availability of apples by new technology in storage. We work on short and long time solutions of the most serious pests and diseases (codling moth, apple sawflies and apple scab), natural beneficial´s in flower strips and natural compounds to kontrol key pests.
