Zusammenfassung
Die ländliche Entwicklung steht heute vor gro0en Herausforderungen. Seit den 80er Jahren entstehen in Deutschland und anderen Ländern lokale Lebensmittelnetzwerke, die als Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) bekannt sind. Der Beitrag behandelt folgende Fragen: Was sind Gründe zur Entstehung und zukünftige Potentiale von CSA in Deutschland? Und: Welche Einschätzungen und Positionen haben Nichtregierungsorganisationen (NROs) in Bezug auf CSA? Experten und NROs wurden durch Fragebögen und Interviews befragt. 2009 gab es in Deutschland 12 CSAs. Es existieren jedoch noch weitere ähnliche Initiativen, die eine Art von gemeinschaftlich getragener Landwirtschaft praktizieren, ohne sich auf den Begriff CSA zu beziehen. Die Untersuchung zeigt, dass es an Wissen in Bezug auf das CSA-Konzept fehlt. Das Interesse daran wächst jedoch deutlich. Es wurden viele Übereinstimmungen zwischen den Zielen des CSA-Konzepts und der befragten NROs gefunden. CSA wird als ein zukunftsweisendes Konzept der Landwirtschaft mit großem Potential für Ökologie,Ökonomie und Soziales eingeschätzt. Ein großes Potential wird in der Verbindung von Landwirtschaft und Bildung/ Erziehung gesehen. Als Haupthindernisse für den Aufbau von CSAs erweist sich deren bisher mangelnder öffentlicher Bekanntheitsgrad und unzureichende Unterstützung.
Summary translation
Abstract
Rural development faces many challenges today. Opposing to that since the 80th there are emerging local food systems in Germany and other countries which are known as Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). The paper deals with the following questions: What are the reasons and future potentials of CSA in Germany? And: What estimations and positions do NGOs have and take referring to CSA? Experts and NGOs were asked by questionnaire and interview. In 2009 twelve CSAs have been established in Germany, but there are more similar initiatives running a kind of supported agriculture without referring to the term CSA. The survey shows that there is a lack of knowledge concerning the CSA-approach, but the interest in CSA is clearly growing. Many similarities between CSA and the aims of these NGOs have been found. CSA is estimated as a future-oriented model of agriculture with much potential for ecology, economy and social service. One big potential is seen in the connection between agriculture and education. The main obstacles that have been observed are the difficult preconditions to build up CSAs like a lack of public relations and support.
