Summary
Ziel des beantragten Projekts ist die Schaffung eines transparenten Vergleichs von ökologischen und konventionellen Aquakulturbetrieben in Deutschland als Voraussetzung zur Expansion der ökologischen Produktion. Für eine breite Umsetzung einer ökologischen Produktion ist der Wille der handelnden Personen unabdingbar. Da hinsichtlich Produktverfügbarkeit von Fisch die Erzeuger, sprich Fischereiunternehmen mit Aquakultur, maßgebliche Bedeutung haben, muss bei diesem Kreis von Unternehmern Sicherheit darüber bestehen, dass ökologische Produktion rentabel möglich ist bzw. dass ökologische Produktion möglicherweise sogar alternativ zur konventionellen Produktion betriebswirtschaftlich sinnvoll ist. Nur durch die Vorlage von betriebswirtschaftlichen Tatsachen, kann ein Unternehmer überzeugt werden, seine Produktion umzustellen.
Gleichzeitig wird durch eine entsprechende Untersuchung deutlich, welche Schwachstellen sich bei ökologischer Produktion und der Umstellung auf diese auftun. Anhand dieser Engpässe können einerseits Unternehmer Vorsorge treffen. Vor allem aber ist es möglich, den politischen Entscheidungsträgern Vorlagen für eine gewollte Erhöhung der ökologischen Produktion von Fischen zu geben, um mögliche Schwachstellen zu schließen. Die Untersuchung soll ergebnisoffen erfolgen und sich auf das Inland beziehen.

Summary translation
In Germany a good demand for products from organic aquaculture can be recognized, that not by a long chalk can be satisfied by inland producers. For the German aquaculture this production consists most of all of carp and three kinds of trout. The presented project contents a profound collection of production and market conditions from the view of the producers by complete survey, and it delivers for the first time a complete view for the year 2008. The exploration involved beside certified enterprises also such ones which did not finished their certification, and helped so to uncover blind sides. By few less than 20 certified companies in 2008 have been produced about 100 t of carp and just over 80 t of trout species. The framing production conditions differ not very much from those of conventional competitors. Also in organic aquaculture enterprises exist lots of production problems that can not be overcome by that production change. Above all problems to get a cost covering market price and to distribute the complete production must be recognized. Here are differences between carp producers and trout producers, but also between the regions. A further problem is the small difference between organic and traditional aquaculture, which is remarked by the customers. The analysis of the situation was completed with a debriefing of conventional trout producers; it should clarify, why organic aquaculture did not established yet in a major way. However it showed among others that organic aquaculture in this country does not offer enough profit incentives. In the result of this exploration some proposals can be found which might be a basis to change the existing situation. The entrepreneur who will transpose his production finds help in calculations and lists of conditions for making his decision.
