Summary in the original language of the document

Summary translation

The primary protein source in fed for organic fish is fish meal. However , fish meal is a limitted resource and is even not perceived as organic. Therefore there is pressure to replace fish meal protein with competitive organic plant protein in feed for organic fish. The organic aquaculture research have this issue as a high priority as well as the critical areas in the chain connecting the organic aquaculture with the consumer.
