Summary in the original language of the document
Summary translation
Danish grown organic plant crops may be used for feed for organic fish in the future. There is a need to replace the fish meal protein currently prevailing in the fish feed with competitive organic vegetable protein sources. However, it is requested that the alternative protein has a high protein content and an adequate amino acid profile in comparison to that of fish meal. In contradiction to conventional fish feed it is not allowed to add artificial amino acids to balance the amino acid profile in organic feed.
