Lowered germination speed indicated a decrease of seed vitality. Alterations of growth, like disturbance of gravitropism and an increased root:leaf ratio prove a significant impairment of the embryo by electron treatment. Results of biocristallisation and capillary dynamolysis indicate a loss of vital quality.} }
