There are two strategies to follow and they can be combined. One is to utilize by-products, and explore new protein sources or refine already existing products. The other is to feed the animals less intensively and for this strategy slow-growing breeds will be useful due to a lower nutrient requirement. However, the possibilities for combinations of regionally grown feed, slow-growing breeds with different feeding strategies are many and they need to be explored. date: 2021 date_type: completed full_text_status: public contact_email: merete.studnitz@icrofs.org conf_subm: not_subm fp7_project: no access_rights: info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess citation: Nørgaaard, Jan Værum; Steenfeldt, Sanna; Theil, Peter Kappel; Åkerfeldt, Magdalena; Kongsted, Anne Grete and Studnitz, Merete (2021) Fulfil The Expectation Of 100% Organic Feed To Organic Pigs And Poultry.
