The 2-years randomized field trials have been carried out at 1 site, with 4 replicates and 10 m row length on naturally infested fields with T. caries. Sowing, weed control and harvesting was done by hand. The number of infested ears has been counted and the number of spores per kernel or spelt has been determined according ISTA. The infestation by wheat of the highest (Elixer, Meister) and lowest (Butaro, Florian) susceptible wheat varieties was higher than 10,000 and lower than 1,000 spores per kernel, respectively. The four spelt varieties had the lowest infestation significantly below 100 spores per spelt. None of the tested varieties was completely free of infestation. publisher: Verlag Dr. Köster, Berlin contributor: Heuwinkel, Hauke contributor: Wolfrum, Sebastian contributor: Reents, Hans Jürgen contributor: Hülsbergen, Kurt-Jürgen contributor: Wiesinger, Klaus date: 2017 type: Conference paper, poster, etc. type: NonPeerReviewed format: application/pdf language: de identifier: /id/eprint/31810/1/Anf%C3%A4lligkeit%20von%20Winterweizen-%20und%20Spelzweizensorten%20gegen%C3%BCber%20Steinbrand.pdf identifier: Voit, Benno; Bauermeister, Regula and Killermann, Berta (2017) Anfälligkeit von Winterweizen- und Spelzweizensorten gegenüber Steinbrand (Tilletia caries).
