Since vegan-organic agriculture is still a niche within the organic agricultural movement there is a lack of any formal organizational structures in the German speaking part yet. It came up the question of the demand and the possibilities of formalizing the movement. Furthermore, six semi-structured interviews with experts in vegan-organic and organic farming of the German speaking area provide an overview of different possibilities of formalisation, respective advantages and challenges, which are the basis for derived recommendations. It became very clear that the vegan-organic movement thrives on the collaborative relationship between the consumers and the producers; and that the mutual exchange, the networking and the close personal collaboration play an important role. These aspects mentioned should be included in the corporate establishment of a farmer association and the elaboration of growing standards as well as realised in CSA and other direct marketing concepts.}, url = {https://orgprints.org/id/eprint/31770/} }
