Summary

EISfOM is an European Concerted Action (CA), which aims to build up a framework for reporting valid and reliable data for relevant production and market data about the European organic sector in order to meet the needs of policy makers, farmers, processors, wholesalers and other actors involved in organic markets.In the project existing information collection systems in 32 countries will be analysed. Proposals will be made for developing new or enlarging existing data collection and processing systems. The proposals will be the basis for developing a Quality Management System (QMS) for ensuring data quality.
