Summary

Village projects introduced to Kars in 2006 aim to revive heirloom seeds and traditional products. The goal is to develop a healthy village model that addresses local's relationship to their environment within a holistic framework. Besides Organic Certification Program, supportive activities developed traditional skills. The project was awarded for the revival of emmer wheat, as IFOAM/Rapunzel One World Award Finalist in 2010.

Kars'ta yerel tohum ve geleneksel ürünleri yaşatmak için 2006'da köy projeleri uygulamaya koyuldu. Amaç çevre ve insan ilişkilerini bütünsel bir kavramla ele alan sağlıklı bir köy modeli geliştirmek. Organik Tarım Programı dışında geleneksel becerileri destekleyici etkinlikler yapıldı. Proje antik buğday Kavılca’nın çoğaltılmasıyla tanındı ve 2010 IFOAM/ Rapunzel One World Award Finalisti oldu.
