Summary

This project was carried out by the Kayseri Directorate for food, agriculture and livestock. Kayseri Organic Farming Expansion Project, in 2012-2013 nearly 500 acres in the area, 53 farmers have their gardens organic fruit and vegetable production in order to make trainings and also every stage of production as required by the garden checks have been done. Production in Yeşilhisar, Yahyali, Pınarbaşı, Tomarza, Felahiye, İncesu, Bunyan, Sarıoğlan, Özvatan and Hacılar were made. Projects in the field of grapes, apples, apricots, cherries and vegetable production is produced using organic production methods. The organic market in the second part of the project work has been done on the establishment Kayseri Directorate of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, Kocasinan Municipality, Cappadocia Organic Agriculture Producers Association, Buğday Association for supporting Ecological Living agreement was made with the market. The city contained within a marketplace has been allocated to producers on Sundays every week. Farmers in the market for a season of 44 tonnes of fruit and vegetables were sold.
