Summary

Projektziel ist die Erarbeitung von Grundlagen und Strategien zur Förderung Sozialer Landwirtschaft als Perspektive insbesondere für ökologisch wirtschaftende Betriebe. Die „Deutsche Arbeitsgemeinschaft Soziale Landwirtschaft“ soll ausgestaltet und verstetigt werden.
Angestrebt wird ein sich selber tragenden Verbund, in dem „Prozessverantwortliche“ Aufgaben übernehmen. Dies soll als partizipativer Entwicklungsprozess gestaltet werden, durch: a) Aufgreifen der Angebote für Initiativen und bilaterale Konkretisierung der nächsten Schritte; b) Individuelle Unterstützung von Prozessverantwortlichen durch Planung von Arbeitsschritten, Zielen, fachlichen Input. Beispiele solcher Initiativen sind 1. thematische und 2. regionale Netzwerke. Im Frühjahr 2011 dient ein Workshop zum Ziehen einer Zwischenbilanz und der Verstetigung der Deutschen Arbeitsgemeinschaft Soziale Landwirtschaft. Weiter erfolgt eine Intensivierung der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit zur Verankerung der Thematik „Soziale Landwirtschaft auf Biohöfen“ in der Gesellschaft. Der Ausbau der Website zu einer Kommunikationsplattform, Projekt-Rundbriefe sowie die Erstellung einer Fotoausstellung „Gesichter Sozialer Landwirtschaft“ sind vorgesehen. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt besteht in der Organisation und Mitwirkung bei Tagungen, die im Rahmen des Projekts umfassend ausgewertet und deren Ergebnisse öffentlich zugänglich gemacht werden.
Der Wissenstransfer in die Praxis ist zentrales Anliegen des Projektvorhabens, das auf die Initiierung und Verstetigung der „Deutschen Arbeitsgemeinschaft Soziale Landwirtschaft“ abzielt. Dies wird erreicht durch die Öffentlichkeitsarbeit, die im Rahmen von Tagungen und durch die Internetpräsenz gegeben ist. Angesprochen werden damit Landwirte, unterschiedliche Nutzergruppen und Träger der Sozialen Landwirtschaft sowie des Sozialwesens und die Beratung.

Social Farming adopts a multifunctional view of agriculture: the main products, in addition to saleable produce, are health and employment, education or therapy. The development of social farming in Germany is lagging behind that in Europe. The aim of the project is to elaborate basic knowledge and strategies to support social farming as a perspective especially for organic farms. The “German Community of Practice Social Farming” shall be developed and be established.
An independent and self-organized community is striven for in which actors take responsibility for certain tasks. This shall be a participatory process of development by a) considering offers for initiatives and making the next steps concrete, b) by individual support of actors by planning the process, goals and support. Examples can be thematic and regional networks. In spring 2011 a workshop will take place to evaluate the ongoing process of supporting the development of the “German Community of Practice Social Farming”. Furthermore, the public relations to make social farming an issue of society will be intensified. The website www.soziale-landwirtschaft.de will be improved towards a communication platform. Also project newsletters and a picture exhibition (“Faces of Social Farming”) are planned. Another focus will be to organize and to contribute to conferences. Their outcomes shall be analyzed and made available for the public.
The transfer of knowledge is a crucial aim of the project. The study shall support networking and exchange among organic farmers that offer social services, but is also addressed to social workers, user groups and administrators of social enterprises and advisors.
