Summary translation
The main objective of the project is the development of application systems suitable for an optimised regulation of diseases by biocontrol agents (BCA's) in the ecological production of strawberries. In the subproject conducted main focus will be on the soil borne and root affecting diseases Verticillium albo-atrum, V. dahliae, Phytophtora fragariae var. fragariae, Phytophthora cactorum and Sclerotium rolfsii. First, the effectivity of various micro-organisms against these pathogens will be tested in lab-trials. Then the compatibility of selected BCA's will be examined in vitro and ad planta. These tests will include also interactions with plant strengtheners and additives. Greenhouse trials will be conducted to show the effectivity of the selected bca's and interactions in the system "BCA product – pathogen – host plant". Side effects on other pathogens or beneficials will be recorded. The most suitable combinations and/or application sequences will be tested in field experiments. Finally, the optimised application systems will be introduced to ecologically cropping strawberry farmers.
