Summary
Nel 2006 un campo sperimentale è stato allestito a Pralormo (TO) con lo scopo di descrivere le caratteristiche di 20 cultivars di mais originarie delle regioni del centro-nord Italia e di 5 ibridi. Questo lavoro fa parte di un programma nazionale di valutazione e conservazione della biodiversità maidicola con lo scopo di descrivere le caratteristiche morfologiche, la capacità produttive e di adattamento a diverse condizioni pedoclimatiche.
Summary translation
In 2006 an experimental field was prepared in Pralormo (TO) with the purpose to describe the characteristics of 20 maize cultivars coming from the Northern and the Central Regions of Italy and 5 hybrids. This work is part of a national program to evaluate and to conserve the Italian maize biodiversity with the purpose to describe the morphological characteristics, the production capability and the capacity to adapt to different fields.
