Summary in the original language of the document

Under organic conditions, green manure is the main driver of soil fertility.
But how can it be broken up before the establishment of the next crop?
This may depend on the present weeds and also on the cultivation technique of the succeeding crop (with or without ploughing, deep or superficial tillage, etc.).
The film shows various possible strategies.
Each strategy matches a specific cultivation system and a particular machine.

EPrint Type:Practice tool
Teaser:Find a suitable machine to break up your green manure!
What problem does the tool address?:Green manures have various good effects as they can suppress weed, recycle nitrogen, increase humus content and support a good soil structure. Before the next culture is established, the green manure has to be ploughed, which can be done in different ways according to the farmer’s priority of the effects mentioned above.
What solution does the tool offer?:Specific machines suitable for particular requirements
