In vielen Fällen erweisen sich Behandlungen mit Antibiotika als wenig nachhaltig. Sie bewirken zudem, dass grosse Mengen Antibiotika in die Umwelt gelangen. In einem Forschungsprojekt des FiBL auf 100 Milchvieh-Betrieben wurde mit Mitteln des Coop Naturaplan-Fonds ein alternatives, tierethisch und ökologisch vertretbares Vorgehen entwickelt und zur Praxisreife gebracht. Das vorliegende Merkblatt enthält Empfehlungen zu einer schrittweisen, biokonformem Sanierung von Eutererkrankungen beim Milchvieh und zeigt auf, wie bei einem weitestgehenden Verzicht auf Antibiotika die Eutergesundheit langfristig erhalten werden kann.
