abstract: Main goals of study on Rhizoctonia were: to describe the way of infection in different stages, to identify and characterize Rhizoctonia races, to study infection-induced changes in the gene expression of R. solani and potato, and to determine the relative importance of infested seed, soil qualities and variety to the disease development.
