    <engabstract>Green manuring is a local cultivation resource. The question is how it can best be used in growing e.g. white cabbage. A study is made of four ways of using green manure: direct&#13;

The different systems are studied with regard to delivery of plant nutrients, plant protection, product quality, safety of cultivation and economy. Six farmers take part with their crops in the tests. The project also comprises a large joint field project where more than tenresearchers cooperate.</engabstract>

I projektet undersöks även de bakomliggande orsakerna till skillnaderna mellan systemen för att kunna dra generella slutsatser av relevans även i andra grödor. Bland annat studeras skadegörarnas populationsdynamik samt påverkan på kvävefixering och rhizosfärflora.</abstract>
