Parmi les ravageurs-clés figurent les lépidoptères, en particulier les tordeuses, qui nécessitent la plupart des traitements insecticides appliqués en viticulture. Les produits à large spectre d'action éliminent la faune auxiliaire, favorisant ainsi la recrudescence de ravageurs secondaires. Partout dans le monde, de nombreux ravageurs développent des résistances aux insecticides classiques et même aux régulateurs ou inhibiteurs de croissance d'insectes ICI et RCI. Pour prévenir l'apparition de résistance aux insecticides, il est primordial d'enrichir l'arsenal des moyens biologiques et biotechniques car leur besoin va encore énormément s'accroître à l'avenir.ViticultureProject description
