Der skal anvendes overvågningsmetoder som er målrettede mod at påvise spredning af transgener fra GM- til ikke-GM marker via pollen, via ukrudtshybrider eller via en utilsigtet iblanding i såsæden. De konkrete problemstillinger er forskellige for forskellige plantearter/ afgrøder, afhængig bl.a. af plantens biologiske egenskaber, anvendelse og dyrkningsmetoder. I denne rapport fokuseres på overvågningsaspekterne med forslag dels til generelle fremgangsmåder som dækker de fleste afgrødeplanter, dels specifikke forslag til overvågning for afgrøderne: raps, rug, rajgræs, hvid- og rødkløver.
