Säule der EU Agrarpolitik auf ökologische Betriebe im Vergleich zu konventionellen Betrieben %U http://orgprints.org/3737/ %X Farms in the EU receive considerable support via the Common Agricultural Policy. Support to organic and conventional farms are analysed covering a wide range of different support measures of the Common Agricultural Policy. Results show that the design of the Common Market Organisations can pose a disadvantage to organic farming systems, even though developments of the last two CAP Reforms (year 1992 and 2000) and the latest reform (2003) have reduced the discrimination of extensive farming systems and provide an opportunity to design suited measures to meet part of the needs of organic farms.
