Organic EprintsDaten- und Informationsmanagement im ökologischen Landbau in Europa - EISfOM ein Projekt zum Aufbau eines Informationssystems für ökologische MärkteGuidoReckeauthorUlrichHammauthorIm Rahmen des von der Kommission der Europäischen Union geförderten Pro-jektes „European Information System for Organic Markets (EISfOM)“ soll ein Markinformationssystem für ökologische Produkte entwickelt werden. Erste Ergebnisse einer Befragung im Rahmen des EISfOM-Projektes zeigen, dass bei statistischen Ämtern, Agrarministerien und auch Kontrollorganisationen z. T. umfassende Datengrundlagen vorliegen, die aber kaum harmonisiert sind und deutliche Qualitätsunterschiede aufweisen. Um die Qualität der Daten sicherzustellen, müssen eine Reihe von Qualitätssicherungsmaßnahmen wie TQM umgesetzt werden. Dabei soll unter Berücksichtigung begrenzter Ressourcen in den statistischen Ämtern eine weitgehende Harmonisierung der Daten in der erweiterten Europäischen Union erreicht werden. Damit würde der Wissen-schaft die Möglichkeit gegeben diese sich z. T. schnell entwickelnden Märkte besser zu erforschen und politische Entscheidungsträger und Marktakteure hätten eine verlässlichere Grundlage für ihre Entscheidungen.
