N2  - A new initiative to enhance biodiversity on agricultural lands in Switzerland is
presented. The initiative by the Research Institute of Organic Farming in Frick and the
Swiss Ornithological Institute Sempach has two main goals: to develop and evaluate a
new point system to assess the contribution of individual farms to biodiversity and to
optimize the farm?s contribution to biodiversity by giving them consulting tailored to the
farm?s specific settings.
