Wie sieht die Situation in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz aus?&#13;
In Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz begann die Bio-Landbauforschung früh – entstanden ist sie durch private Initiative. So wurde etwa in Deutschland im Jahr 1950 das Institut für biologisch-dynamische Forschung gegründet, in der Schweiz im Jahr 1973 das Forschungsinstitut für biologischen Landbau (FiBL) und in Österreich 1980 das Institut für biologischen Landbau und angewandte Ökologie (heute Bio Forschung Austria).
